Everytime I hear that song I think of my friend Tony singing out the notes because that's how I taught him how to play it. That's the first song that I teach people when teaching guitar. Then it's Violent Femme's "Blister In The Sun" and once they get that down Nirvana's "Come As You Are".

As for the topic. I play

    Gee-tar (acoustic, electric, bass)
    Keyboard
    Drums
    Cello
    Violin
    Spoons
and I hit a pretty mean tambarine

An electric guitar is also acoustic, really, but you need to plug it in. Acoustic electrics are where you dont need to plug it in like a regular acoustic, but you can like an electric.

Yeh, my red Stratocaster. Its more of a dark red (look on my myspace link in my sig to see). I love it, its mexican, everyone gets down on me for that, but I dont care, as long as it can play

It is! You can feel the music vibrate through your hands! Its so cool, and then eventually you can hear your music in your mind. Then you end up playing so hard, you dont even know it. Its the best feeling in the world.

Anyone can play guitar... just save up some money, go to a pawn shop and buy one, learn songs through tabs and you'll see for yourself how much fun it is.

And electric and acoustic guitars are played a bit different. There are some things you can do on acoustic that you can't really pull off with an electric and the same goes for electric that you can't do with acoustic. Electric guitar is a bit easier on your fingers than an acoustic as well.
