I hate them so much, the sig rules are just :rude:, the new ranks are just gonna make people spam more...

I personally hate them, im thinking of leaving and joining a smaller less petty forum.

im not actaly to botherd, its ovios they were a result of the few idiots who created the massoovly long, ginatly worded, unban who ever sigs pointlessly, wich kina ruined it for the rest of us, but ive just counted and my sig, fits in perfectly, athogh if i were to ad moe tutorials it would not. But then again i can always exspand side ways rather than downwards with the list "/

On any sig rules my base stand point would be dont have them, as people IMO should just have whatever sigs they like as long as they obay other rules and are not being rediculus. If people worry about page load time they can easly disable them compleaty from the options in user cp.
But if we have to have sig rules to start, im not so bothered "/

I kinda agree with the levels one, but the signature one is apserloutly horrible! I can't have :wav::werock::wav: in my sig now! :@ I think you need to :rude: change it! I liked the old rule, why change. God leave it as it used to be for :rude: sake!

I think all of them are very reasonable excepting the Smiley Thing. The thing is, I don't think it was in their control (I MAY BE WRONG) but I think this is what happened. What they used was a Hack or Modification that you can add to your forum so that it doesn't allow people to enter certain things. Or it can add things onto a forum. The Arcade on Habbox.us and the Shoutbox we used to have were both hacks. I think all these rules were the result of a new hack being uploaded because of all the stupid signatures and so that mods wouldn't have to waste so much time warning people for too many images or too large sigs. I was bored the other day so went through about 3 threads looking for sigs that were against the rules (these were before the new rules were introduced) and ended up having to PM TWENTY people! But when they set a limit on pictures, they probably didn't have the choice of whether Smilies were classified as images, it was just probably a built in part of the hack!

Omg! The stoopid new Sig rules! Only 10 lines? 500 characters was bad enough, but I got used it.

Your signature is plenty big enough as it is. A signiture isn't supposed to be your life story, it's just a few quotes, links or funny sentences as part of your forum profile. I agree with the new rules, and don't think it's unreasonable to prohibit the use of row upon row of "Habbox Forum Rocks!" smilies. I do agree however that the odd smiley or two isn't too much to ask on top of a single image.

I think smileys in signature should still be allowed, together with 1 image (2 for VIPs). And if 10 lines isn't enough we can try 15 I guess? Maybe we can remove the limit on the number of characters then as a limit of 15 lines should be enough.

For the ranks it might have been better if we had not adjusted the lower ranks, because now some people went down in rank and that's not nice. So next time we will only add new ranks to the top I think.

Hmm yeah I agree that there shouldnt be a limit on smilies in signatures, unless of course there is a stupid amount.

There should be a line limit though definately, as some people tend to want a 30 line signature for some reason :rolleyes:
