I never played it obsessively like a lot of people did when it came out so for me it's still the same - just a casual extra to going around places. If you play it like that it's obviously not competitive because you're not going to be as good as those who do it 24/7 but it does stop you from getting instabored of it

I once saw this guy who literally camped at this popular spot from 3pm til 3am, he even came out in our local online newspaper,
he had like bottles of drink, this luggage that contained different batteries, 2 ipads and his phone and like lights and portable
fans, i can't even omg. What would you get even if you are the highest? He was just camping there & swiping up constantly

Finally got my SECOND 10k egg lmao can tell I don't go out much but also been storing up pidgeys for a big PIDGEY PARTY to evolve loads at once, got 323 pidgey candies atm

Yeah I stopped a few months ago, I'll probably start again when new gen comes out.

For Halloween they've increased spawns of scarier Pokémon like Zubat, Drowsee, Cubone, Ghastly, Meowth etc. and their evolutions. They've also reduced how far you need to walk to gain candies with your buddy, increased candies via hatching and that too.

I play a little still just because it's something I'm interested in as well as my boyfriend, although they've gone way over the top with spawns of the scarier Pokémon.
