Kurt left WWE on August 25, 2006, he was granted an early release from his WWE contract due to "personal issues." He joined TNA shortly after. Rikishi left WWE on July 16 2004, following repeated requests from WWE to lose weight. He joined TNA for a brief stint in 2007. However, after a dispute, he left TNA because of money issues.

Kurt was battling the early signs of an addiction to painkillers, and couldn't keep up with the WWE schedule because of it.

Yeah, great wrestler but he's arrogant. I thought he won the WWF title pretty early on in his WWF career.

What do the painkillers do? I thought it'd be steroids that they take?? Kurt was an amazing wrestler and I do miss him in the WWE.

Yeah. I think WWE suspend superstars who take these just in case they become addicted on pain killers.
