Yes, there is humour in Kimi ni Todoke.

I watched the first part of Confessions here and the second part here, although there are alternative links here if you desire to watch it through a different website. It seriously is such a fantastic film.

Rewatching Samurai Champloo and finally started the second series of School Rumble the other day. Loving them both!

Yeah, I finished Maid-Sama awhile ago.

Have to start the manga from the beginning though. I'm can't find which chapter the anime ends at.

I'm currently rewatching Death Note. I've forgot how good of a series it is. On another even better note, my PC that I spent £1100 on is coming Monday. Going to be so sweet.

Are you joking? There's tons of humour in Kimi ni Todoke. Sawako's facial expressions alone are hilarious. The series would be so unbelievably dry otherwise. Every decent anime/manga website lists one of its genres as comedy.

    Wikipedia - 'romantic comedy'
ANN - 'comedy, romance, slice of life'
Anime Planet - 'comedy, drama, romance, school life'
Baka-Updates - 'comedy, drama, romance, school life, shoujo, slice of life'

I got it a few days ago. Haven't really looked at it in any detail but if you already have all of the single volumes then I really don't see any point in buying the boxset unless you're dying for the illustrions booklet.

    Oh and unrelated note...

Oh Samurai Champlooo, how I have missed you. Up to episode 17 in only two sittings.

They don't want them to watch it because otaku and anime are frowned upon in japan.

It's mainly because i have alot of boxsets now and they take up less space, look good, all in one nice box. Only singles im buying atm are One Piece, FMA:B And just bought the first 2 DB Kai blu rays. And i need to get my champloo boxset off my bro..

    actually was because
    1. Too many scenes of cruelty
    2. It takes life and death too lightly
    3. Harsh language

    "
According to a Japanese national PTA initiated survey, One Piece is the most popular single comic series averaged between elementary to middle school children. Furthermore the animation is the 15th most liked OVERALL television program averaged between the same age groups. The most popular reasons given for enjoying the series were, in order from first to third, ‘It’s entertaining’, ‘I can talk about it with friends’ and ‘It relieves stress or lightens my mood’.
The only animation to beat out One Piece in likability was Inazuma 11. One Piece even managed to beat out a cultural icon like Doraemon which was in 16th place. Furthermore, regarding manga series, while Dragon Ball was ranked 15th by ‘What Parents Think Their Kids Like to Read’ it was actually ranked 24th by the children themselves when asked ‘What Comics Do You Like to Read?’

I like the Death Note boxset because it actually has an outer casing that all of the volumes fit into nicely, unlike the Samurai Champloo boxset which is just one big plastic case with seven DVDs squashed inside. I see distributors are doing that a lot more often now. So cheap.
