I think he was Or at least an attempt. If they went on the boat which im not sure about as its far from england to america and he got there pretty quick. But if he did would make sense as he was at a dock when he called jack.

He wasnt blood because he killed her, he had a broken arm and brused face

Which could've been caused by that action. Being bloody is just the effects that lead to the curiosity. In any case there's no definitive explanation as to why he's injured and I can't wait to see what happened.

I dont think it was broke. It looked like a fracture or summat like that coz i think he was reading with 2 hands. I think he got sayid to batter him, so now they have some1 who was in kates postion on the first flight. Also people were like how did Hugo know and all this. Tbh i think it was Charlie that told him. Like he told him jack was coming to visit...

There was nothing explained. Why is Sayid being accompanied? What happened to Aaron? I know Hurley was let off, but who told him about the flight? Why is Ben all bleeding and whats with his broken(?) arm? Less annoyed at the 1970's island, why is Jin in a Dharma suit, why does he have that van, where are the others (both Sawyers crew and the returners)? Yeah it was at the end of the episode so i can't be AS annoyed.
Just seems as if they went 'Ok, we need you all on this plane tomorrow at this time.' and by magique they all were.

Oh and will Lapidus be back? I like his character and hope he hasn't died in the crash.
