Most people that are blaming MAD really do need to get a reality check...
Most won't know the reason that all of this happened and quite frankly in my opinion, it was all blown way out of proportion. When people are fired, they always take it too far. I certainly did when I was first fired, but I guess that when you are sacked for the first time you really do become so immature excluding such a few. Moderators felt the same as Catzsy but really, why was she fired and not the rest of the '11'? You know, it really is a good game of Chinese Whispers...

Seriously, the Moderators that agreed with the issue would probably say different but I didn't actually think that it was such an issue to get so worked up on, but it was taken so far that it is almost laughable.
Samuel's view is all in that post that you quoted and all nice and clean with absolutely no sign of a biased opinion.


EDIT: Dan, I was also back when I was fired but I did look back and it was a justified sacking. Only such a few would be mature when they were sacked for the first time, I wasn't mature when I was.

If we're being realistic, some members of staff have too much power, one of these I feel is actually MAD.

To get the best out of a senior member of staff, they need to concentrate on 1 area, I think MAD was best off just concentrating on being a Forum Manager, instead of taking on an AGM job as well.

Now, I know you're going to say "Well others have done it too", but I don't think any of the others have as much complexity to them as the forum AND another job on top of that (and possibly others).

This is a step MAD has taken, but we should respect this. If he wants to try and replace them, and it fails, who is it that ends up with egg on there face? Catzsy? No.. it's MAD. If it's a good step, then who will get the acknowledgement, the person who replaces them, not MAD.

I also feel that PenguinFluid should be fired for his posts which blatently took the **** out of ---MAD--- (lol) and then 'took them back'. What a loser. You then started sucking upto him as to not get fired. Real great life you got PenguinFluid!

Obviously if ---MAD--- has his position(s) possibly threatened by others because they believe he is not good enough then he will get rid of them, it's the system of power. By only firing Catzsy (a well liked and good member of staff) he is trying to scare the other people who complained. All I can ask is that they don't back down and take ---MAD--- down so he is a little more ---CALM---

It's why people get sacked that it's the problem, I recall you got fired for calling someone an idiot, I regret not quitting for you back then, but like most of the staff, I was reluctant to quit.
