I've never been a big believer in Kinect as a gaming device, it's a complete waste of time, although the Kinect camera is probably one of the best video game peripherals ever made, it really sucks for video games, that could just be down the motion gaming being a complete waste of time though, given the option I'd certainly go for a Kinect free XB1.
Saying that, I think it's a mistake for Microsoft to change that, the Kinect has barely any games for the same reason PS Vita has barely any games, the market is too small, if everyone with XB1 had a Kinect always plugged in then it would give solid justification for developers to use it, now it's just going to fail the same way the original Kinect did.

Ah well, despite all Microsofts changes, I'd still rather buy the XB1 than a PS4.

I like how everyone universally agreed that XB1 with Kinect sucked, but now there's an option not to have it, everyone has universally agreed that Microsoft shouldn't have made the change

Just because they add something doesn't mean people will use it.. Kinect will be dead in a year and only used for petty things as dev's won't bother with it.

Lets me put my opinion this way!

I was a member on xbox live for around 2 years yes 2 years! I got console banned for downloading a friends account dont ask why im pretty lost myself. And After that I lost around £200 worth on map packs plus my membership was lost.

I will be switching to PS4 due to the fact they will have more games hopefully better service. Microsoft tried to make people play first hand games and have their consoles online 24 hours... Do they even care about the customers? They don't listen to opinions they only changed it to save their company from loosing money.

I Will be switching to PS4 the only thing I will miss is the LT and RT buttons on the controller as I was good with Black ops 2

Also FIFA 14 to come with X180 if they preorder while stocks last, I smell desperation and it's still cheaper to buy a Ps4 and FIFA 14. That's if you even want to play FIFA (Doesn't like FIFA) But for anyone who does opinions? anyone feel like switching back to the 180?

Not sure anyone can complain about FIFA 14 being free - as someone who would buy it anyway, XBOX one is now no worse a deal than the PS4*

*Still personally prefer PS4, but price is no big deal now!

Ps4 launching 15th November in North America & 29th November in Europe. They also announced that if you buy Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts, or Watch Dogs on ps3, you will be able to buy them digitally on ps4 for a discounted price.
