He only remembers when little ben meets them.
Just like Desmond only remember'ed about Daniel's mum when Daniel told him when he was back in time.
Also Ben knew he survived and that what they did must have led to the current stuff happening. Like Daniel said, whats happened has happened and cannot be changed.
