There's actually a bunch of anime fans on this forum but most of them just seem to draw characters, lurk in the graphics section and never post here for some reason.

We may not have many active threads in this section these days, but this one gets a lot of action. Looking back though this section has had some huge threads. Infectious claims that there are supposedly a 'very small amount of users that are fans' on the forum, but this section has done quite well for itself these past couple of years.

Anyway, the first episode of Gintama has only been out for like 12 hours and already the series is the highest rated anime on MAL with a score of 9.24. Neev if you were a true fan you would watch the episode RIGHT NAO!

I AM A TRUE FAN, I WAS WATCHING IT WHILST U SAID THAT. I COULDNT RESIST ANYMORE.

Oh my god it was hilarious. The first few minutes had me absolutely loling and the episode as a whole was great. DBZ references and omdz like 2 one piece references too. "MEET IN 2 YEARS" + the lady boys/blue beard pirates.

Sooooooooooooo good. I cant wait for mondays now.


oh and the end bit with kyubei was hilarious, was not expecting that at all haha.

Yeah, haha. If there's one anime that continuously defies your expectations it's Gintama. I can tell when they're going to troll us, but I can never quite tell what it is they're going to do. The Kyubei part was so unexpected!

Also loved Shinpachi's looooooooooooooong run



and the scene where Gintoki and Kagura were assessing each others power ("He's fast!" / "She's fast!") and teleported onto Shinpachi's head.

hahaha yeh the long run was amazinggggggg. "ARE YOU ******** ME!?!?!?!?!?!?"

and omg how could i forget to mention the power and the standing on the head. Just reading that made me lol so loud. Loveeeeeedddd it.

Hoping we get to see how the Shinsengumi, Sa-chan, Hasegawa, Baka Prince and everyone else look after the two year time skip!

Oh and someone just had to bring up anime in that thread, didn't they? As usual, we have a bunch of idiots spurting nonsense, making baseless comments and assuming they know best without looking at the facts. It's not easy being an anime fan on this forum, no wonder everyone else fled.

I hate debating on this forum these days, everyone is so damn stubborn, myself included. It just gets monotonous after a while, but at least we got somewhere. Henceforth, Hecktix shall be known as the saviour of the anime section (not that it was in danger).

In other news, that new legal UK anime site has started annoucing their titles, I think.
