Link me to the plan or source you got your BB from, I'm curiousNo way can people get a better phone than mine for the price I paid. No, I didn't buy it from Blackberry direct, or even new (technology exchange, but mint condition), where the same place, an HTC (not the wildfire as i know thats worse) or iPhone was substantially more than that. I understand you think I could have got a better spec, but not at the same price, I wasn't prepared to pay any more than I did.![]()
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
So it wasn't new?
Edit; Saw your previous post.
I had a HTC Wildfire - BB Curve (Same as yours) Then a few others.
I would never have a blackberry again, they are too limited, I loved my HTC Wildfire, only reason I went to BB was for BBM, I had it 2 months then got my HTC Wildfire back.

Mine's not a curve ahah, the curves are rubbish compared to the bolds! My sister's and ex boyfriend's and friend's wildfires have all had issues in the time i've had this phone! So it wasn't new?

people tend to judge BBs on curves just because they're cheaper/more popular - they're cheaper because they're not as good, simple as.
This exact same thing happened to me back when I unfortunately and stupidly had a BlackBerry. It stopped turning on and a friend at a carrier loaned me an HTC Vogue. After they told me my BlackBerry was fixed I told them I didn't want it, and I bought a used Vogue from Kijiji. I had slapped Android on my vogue and even a slightly glitchy Android port back then made my old BlackBerry look like a heap of crap (because that's all it really is).So it wasn't new?

I would have thought RIM would of improved to match the software and hardware that Apple and Google's (and partners) play with, but instead they just stood still in the industry for years and let everybody else surpass them. Again as a Canadian I'm totally distraught that they're suffering so poorly, but at the same time there's no way in hell I'm going to buy another BlackBerry again, because why should I pay my overpriced phone carrier for a BlackBerry when I can pay them that same amount of money and get a phone that has tremendously better software and hardware?
It's NOT a matter of personal opinion as to which one is better, because comparing BlackBerry phones to the Samsung Galaxy line typically results in evidence suggesting that the Galaxy has better software and better hardware.

You're getting more and more obtuse around the forum as the year bores on.This exact same thing happened to me back when I unfortunately and stupidly had a BlackBerry. She likes her Blackberry, there is no need to flood the thread with a needless argument over you preferring iPhones or whatever garbage you're spitting out these days.
OT: I own a Galaxy S3.
Galaxy S3 > iPhone 4,5 and 6
That was just to pull your leg

I have an iPhone 4.
Reading some of the more recent posts on this thread puts the phone argument into perspective. I don't get why people get so worked up over someones choice in phone, I chose the iPhone because I like the phone and it does exactly what I need it to do (and more) but thats purely an advantage. I use it for making calls, texts, sending e-mail, web browsing and so on - the extras, such as the ability to install applications are an advantage. And iMessage for example, that is an advantage - free messaging to other iOS devices.
But to some those extras such as the ability to install apps may go unnoticed or unneeded. And their purchase would be entirely unnecessary.
If someone wants to "waste their money" on a phone that isn't as good as another one, that's their own decision, and I'm sure they are fully aware that the iPhone and such phone exists on the market, but they have obviously chose that phone for a particular reason. Prior to the whole iPhone/BlackBerry/whoever fiasco started my choice of phone would be a Sony Ericsson with the walkman, because I used my phone for all the phone features in addition to listening to music, I'm sure I could have spent a little bit more and had a better phone but would I have used the additional features? probably not, and that would be wasting the extra money I put forward to get the 'better' phone.
Always lurking around, never really post.
I don't even use BBM, I have 2 contacts and one of them threw away their blackberry LOL! Why would it be 'the' work phone for all high up city jobs (don't even contradict me ok) if it was truly such a waste of space?
Blackberry Torch. Hopefully the iPhone 5 is out when I upgrade in November.
