In my opinion, the article was dead-on. It was, after all, focused on the safety side of Habbo, which is appalling. Ever since they updated the navigator, the first room that shows when you open up the hotel, you see HOT, SEXY SINGLES rooms, or NAUGHTY, SEXY BEDS, etc... Yet Sulake is claiming that doesn't happen, they close those rooms immediately, etc. They don't, or else it wouldn't have taken until today for this to happen.

If they showed anything that happens on the forums, lol.... Child pornography (with the exposures)...

They do seem to be brushing it under the carpet. The CEO doesn't seem to of taken it seriously, it shouldn't of taken until now for him to get his finger out to work on these threats which, I honestly believe, will never go away. It's a child brothel, as the reporter said, there's no way Habbo can monitor so many users at one given time without hiring a ton of moderators.

well things need to change. Habbo wants to stay out of the news than put heavy mods to do their jobs.. if not, Habbo will most likely be closed for - forever..

They should probably try fast-track the guides/helpers system and get those advanced guides/helpers into place to help regulate the hotel, add a much stricter filter which is enabled for all unless your date of birth is 18 and not able to enable/disable on your choice, clamp down on these e-dating rooms and other rooms which could cause issues and just monitor the hotel a lot more stricter for awhile while reviewing their strategy.

I personally believe Habbo should shut down for a good ONE - Three months, to reboot their programming and change everything and have mods everywhere, if they want safe, then have the mods do their job. Because lately reporting people for bad stuff, the mods do NOTHING or ban the wrong person..

Why on earth would they need to shut down for that long?

They have 100s of moderators and all that needs to be done is to tell them to toughen up on reports! Plenty of these cyber sex rooms are reported but currently nothing is done about them. It will take a few minutes to pass out a staff message that these rooms are no longer acceptable..

I'm tired of hearing Sulake say that they are "improving" moderation, that they are working towards fixing it. Fix it already. Be improved already, don't take a month to do so.
