    Default A series of Competition Ideas...Part 3

    Habbo History

Please do note: The reason why there is a formal set-out, Terms and Condtions, etc, is NOT because this is an Official Competition run by Habbox or it's competitions staff. This is only how the competition would be viewed on the page and if Habbox should wish to use this competition; it will make it easier to copy and paste. The views and opinions stated in this post are not nessesarily the views and opinions of Habbox and it's staff.)

We all know we have a Habbo Council...even if they INSIST they do something but actually don't really appear to do much. (I'd LOVE to say "*cough* Staff pets *cough* but I know I can't, so edit the brackets out, please 2hd, if you want this competition). Put yourself in the shoes of the HM and design your own Habbo Council. Now, the members in this Council isn't really important. We only need to know who's in it so we can see how many are in the Council, and if they're popular, well-known, etc or not. (Please Note: It does NOT matter under ANY circumstances if the members chosen are well known). Your task is to tell us what powers YOUR Habbo Council does. Are they made into Super-Moderators on Habbo that can change the catalog and create furni? Or are they advice-givers in the newsie? YOU tell us

    Your entry needs:

-Creativity - Make it so that we can see original thinking behind your ideas.
A degree of Possibility - Make the entry perhaps a little bit believable; as this makes the entry more exciting and creative. It is also a technique to draw the reader into a world that can be believed, not impossible.
-Grammer and Punctuation - What more needs to be said?
    -Wit - Clever ideas
-an explanation on How are the Members Selected.

To enter this competition you must be a registered member of Habbox Forum.

    Your entry should look like:

    Habbox Name:
    Habbo Name:
    Council Members-
    My Entry -

One entry per Habbo ONLY, and per PC. Any additional entries, and the original one, will be disqualified.

Terms and conditions: To prevent unfair competitions, we only allow one entry for each Habbox member and one pc. If more entries are sent using the same Habbox member and/or pc, all the entries will be withdrawn from the competition. You can send in your entry until the competition is closed at some time on the specified Habbox date (TBA). The winner will be announced in this forum and in this thread. They will be private messaged by Aquae to collect their prize. Habbox has the right to close the competition at any time before the competition ending date and the winner will be judged from all the entries received up to that point. Aquae will be judging the competition. Any harassment or attempted bribery will get you disqualified and could even get you into trouble on the Forum. ALL Habbox staff are excluded from participating in Competitions, unless Competition states they may. This includes all sites and departments that are involved with Habbox. Trialists may enter any competition whilst they are on trial. Any entries that break the forum rules in anyway will also be withdrawn. Prizes must be claimed within two months of the winner(s) being announced in the announcement forum. Unclaimed prizes will be used again in a future Competition or in any other Habbox competition event.

We don't want questions or comments, please. Do not under any circumstances post them! If you want to make a comment, please post it in the competition question/comments forum or contact a Forum Moderator.

(Edited by 2hd.) This competition is interesting, yet some points are controversial. I'm sure this could end up as a competition, yet it might be changed a bit.

Default Sorry about that! Competition Idea 3.5! A New Order...

My mistake, 2Hd. I forgot myself; and apologize to any users who read my opinionated post. I will submit now a more objective version.

    A New Order...

Please do note: The reason why there is a formal set-out, Terms and Condtions, etc, is NOT because this is an Official Competition run by Habbox or it's competitions staff. We all know we have a Habbo Council on the UK Version of Habbo. We're not exactly sure of what these members do though, so this competition is for you creative writers . Put yourself in the shoes of the HM and design your own Habbo Council. Now, the members in this Council isn't really important. We only need to know who's in it so we can see how many are in the Council, and if they're popular, well-known, etc or not. Are they made into Super-Moderators on Habbo that can change the catalog and create furni? Or are they advice-givers in the newsie? YOU tell us

(Note: Perhaps for extra criteria include a stylish name for your Order/Council)

    Your entry needs:

-Creativity - Make it so that we can see original thinking behind your ideas.
A degree of Possibility - Make the entry perhaps a little bit believable; as this makes the entry more exciting and creative. It is also a technique to draw the reader into a world that can be believed.
-Grammer and Punctuation - Correct spelling, to make it easier to read.
    -Wit - Clever ideas.

    Default Competition Ideas 4...Easter Surprise

    Easter Surprise!

Through the many Easter's we've had, seasonal competitions/promotions have arisen from Habbo that may have drawn your attention. For this competition, we want you to design YOUR Easter surprise and competition. There are two parts. Part 1 is that in Habbo, you are asked to create a surprise for the users of the Hotel - it can be anything, though remember the recommended guidelines below. For Part 2 you must create an Easter Competition/Quest for Habbo Hotel. Tell us about it, and include the prizes too, as this is included in the judging

-Originality - Set your idea and entry so that it stands out from the other entries.

To enter this competition you must be a registered member of Habbox Forum.

    Your entry should look like:

    Habbox Name:
    Habbo Name:

    My Entry-
    Easter Surprise (Part 1) -
    Easter Competition - (Part 2)

One entry per Habbo ONLY, and per PC. Any additional entries will disqualify you completely from the competition.

Make a few non-Habbo-related competitions...digital/traditional art that can be anything related, or something more relevant to the outside world. You could do poem and writing comps as well. These will be more interesting to competition judges as well.

Edited by Re101 - Thanks for this idea, ill definatly put this into concideration.

Edited By Aquae - it would be difficult to do a bingo and there is already a tournament running.

    Default Part 5 - Version 10 Release

    Version 10 Release!

V9 has just come and gone; another top-secret release that powered scripting to almost an end, and gave Habbos more features than ever before. But what about another release? Creative writers - this is for you! What kind of features do you think it a V10 Release of Habbo would bring? You can make it as creative as you like! Also, after ten releases, it has been decided you should make a title for the V10 release, (i.e Version Habbo). Make a great title as this is included in the judging

    Your entry needs:

-Creativity - Make it so that we can see original thinking behind your ideas.
A degree of Possibility - Make the entry perhaps a little bit believable; as this makes the entry more exciting and creative. It is also a technique to draw the reader into a world that can be believed. It would be very nice if in V10 we all turned into Moderators but sadly this would be too outrageous and perhaps a bit too unbelievable to be interesting.
-Grammer and Punctuation - Correct spelling, to make it easier to read.
    -Wit - Clever ideas.
-Originality - Set your idea and entry so that it stands out from the other entries.
