Prof. McAlpine that helped to turn it on stated that not until a larger LHC comes into existence will they be able to create a black hole large enough to engulf the entire world, supposing they could be wrong then whats anyone going to do but Id give that the greatest minds in all of humanity (for thats what they are) havent got it wrong.

An opinion, not a fact, you cannot backup your statement..

no, there is a very likely chance that it will create black holes, but theres a one in 60 billion chance that one wont collapse in on itself and actually do some damage.

failed. he never said that we're all gunna die because of the LHC, he just stated that we're all gunna die.

you cant exactly shun me for my reply when this thread is on the topic of people believing the LHC will destroy humanity.

Itis impossible for LHC from CERN To kill us because sure they may be shooting protons at the speed of light at each other after about 40 mins/ To add it on they have been doing this for 20 years in the making so im sure itll be safe but they may be making another universe (miniture) btu they can shut it down fromt he amount of computers they have. they have around 40 super computers over 2k sicentist work on it from around 60 diff contries. No doubt thell have steven hawkins but they can controll this so if there is any black holes thell only take energy and light from the miniture universe.
