Wanna try BBC/ITV news? Or maybe even newsround which is aimed at Children, they recently done a story about Habbo safety so i'm sure they'd be quite interested in this

Erm..I'm not sure that's entirely true (like, I buy VIP to see who's repped me ). But to an extent I'm sure it is.

I think that if Sulake go through with this, rebranding is the only thing that will work. All that would need to be changed is the URL, Name and Habbo Images... The Habbo sections can all remain... I mean; we have a Runescape section but we're not considered a Runescape fansite are we?

Secretly give the donors extra features They are going to be in a new usergroup anyway if their name is going to be different.

I remember a few years ago they had that watchdog program for children on cbbc. Do they still have it they would be a good source to get in contact with as they speak on your behalf etc. Sounds stupid i know but they are more likely to deal with a teenage targeted website that the real watch dog lol.

The rules now apply to unofficial fansites as well.

I think they have always applied to non-official fansites too. Not sure why people overlook that fact

I think rebranding is one of the best ideas now. If we use a loophole, Sulake will just patch it up. The best way is to give them no control over HxF. Anyway, most people do not use Habbo on this site. A Habbo section can be also mantained though. Official status - Habbox is one of the fansites I feel, that is still popular even if it is not official and this has been proven before when it was still popular despite a long period of not being official.

The thing, if it had to be re-branded, there would only be like one Habbo forum because the amount that there are now would make it a Habbo fansite. The trade forums will have to go, the Habbo graphics forums will have to go and be replaced with one forum for MMRPG Alts (or whatever the blooming things are called ) which can include Habbo. Habbo News, rumours, trades, rooms and so on will probably have to go in Console Games with multiple sub-forums depending on how much they're used. A catagory could work though, and the excuse "It's talked about alot" would hide any idea for it being a Habbo fansite forum

I doubt they'll be able to copyright the word "Habbo" so much that they have control over which sites may use it. If they did, The Times newspaper will be in trouble and reviews on any media will have to be removed. Granted, I think they have the power to forcefully remove words from sites that they choose from.
