I'd have had him for £1M all day long :/

Won player of the season a couple of times if I re-call correctly. Not sure why he came to us though. Turner, Da Silva and Ferdinand will all be contesting for his place. Bruce seems to like Turner (and Bramble, though) and Da Silva had an IMMENSE World Cup.

Oh and Wootzeh I'm surprised you didn't sign him.

I didn't think people rated Ferdinand?

He'll get a few games this season for his versatility. Turner's out for the first game of the season so he could play then, and we look set to play Richardson at LB. If ever there's any shortage of players in midfield, Bruce likes to bring Richardson into midfield, and Ferdinand can fill in at LB.

City's soon to be strike force - Ballotelli, Torres, Tevez, Adeabyor, Bellamy, Santa Cruz, Robinho (in theory). + David Silva.

I think I just wet my pants. They will have everything.

All they need now is one TOP midfielder, e.g. Fabregas, + their going to sign Milner. So scary.

    Given/Hart

    Boateng - K. Toure - Lescott - Kolarov

    Barry - Milner - Y. Toure

    Robinho/Tevez - Torres - Silva

Subs - Adebayor, Bellamy, Robinho/Tevez, A. Johnson, Richards, Viera, Ireland (probably leaving), De Jong, Kompany.

    Amazing team.

Forgot to add Ballotelli to that list. Surely Bellamy and another striker will have to leave.

When do the 25 man squads get announced, do we know? Because once City put Ireland/Onouha/Michael Johnson in the reserves there's going to be an absolute cluster****.

    Wow what a team....

Most likely they won't play well together though

Yet again Chelsea have been inactive in the transfer window. If they don't bring in Ramires (likely they will), David Luis (less likely) and Neymar (unlikely) then R.I.P Barclays Premier League 2010/11.

BTW, Torres won't join City. He wants Champions League. I do think that Ballotelli will join though.

Any player with common sense would join City. It's obvious they're going to be challenging for the title next season, and are very likely to get into the CL. Plus the huge wage package.

It's a no brainer for most players, If I were a pro I know I'd join City. :/
