The conclusion to the Gintama arc was pretty **** to be honest. Thought it would have been on par with the Shinsengumi Rebellion arc but it messed up near the end.

yea but normaly when fan service happens theres some sort of explination to why it happened. just seems random lol. anyway trying to find the 2 films on dvd. only place you can buy them in the US dosent ship internationaly so bah

You obviously haven't seen many Gainax shows. Their fan service is usually spontaneous and pointless. You could even argue that they invented it, starting with the 'Gainax bounce' in Gunbuster. I know so much pointless crap.
