Nah, there wasn't enough hype or heat going into the match really. "A big announcement" from JBL was nothing, we all knew he was going to quit, well I did.

Because he was 'injured'/eliminated out of the fight for the title by Randy Ortons kick to his head and he was also just before that in a feud with Randy Orton and was a big part of evolution as Triple H was... He was also scheduled to be returning sometime soon so I figured it'd be fitting for them to bring him back during something like this.
