I'd die for any of my good friends because if I didn't then I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing I could have done something.

Most people would die for others if they loved them. However if the person that would die for the ones they loved, loved them back, they would stop them from dying for them on whatever circumstance and situation that may be.

how could you be in this position
It is only in the movies where they say stuff like that

and in movies you jump infront of a train to save a 90 year old lady who is going to die in 5 days anyway.

if i was ever in that situation where i had to choose i would try to get out of it and keep the person and me alive.
