American idiot is a bad album from green day, dookie was and still is the best because if you listen to dookie you won't skip a track or 2 but with nimrod you will.

They are good especially old stuff but the new stuff is so boringly easy to play on bass/guitar/drums. Also its annoying how everyone goes "OMMGGZZ BILLIE JOE'S SO FITTTTT!!!1111", he never got any of that in the first 10 years of the band and now everyone says it.

with the easier to play thing well when you start to play bass you should start off with easy songs and most of them are green day and not jsut the new stuff but the old, i mean how easy is hitchin a ride and holiday
