I would bet 100% that you reported something but when a log was checked there was no evidence of it (I've seen calls like "OMG so_n_so is being really abusive and violent" yet all the log has in is the word "hiya!!".
It does happen - you'd not have gotton that alert if someone WAS actually doing something bad, and I know it.
