    Haha, well its kind of hard to convince a nation on that stuff. If we had to add the U to all the words, I would be so frustrated and keep forgeting. It doesnt really matter.

    English in general is a very dumb language. One of my old teachers said it was made up by 3 drunks in a bar (joking obviously). Most languages say the adjectives after the noun, which sounds weird to us, but it makes more sense. Instead of 'The blue coat' it would be 'the coat blue' (roughly, not translated exact). Thats why its so hard to learn. There are countless words with silent Es but they make the word sound completely different. Like 'hat' is a word, but add an E at the end, a letter we dont even pronounce, it has a completely different sound.
