No-one has proved they can. It's also kinder hard to catch it off birds n'all.

Slight contradiction, if humans can catch it and as Dan said, it has mutated, shouldn't that man be dead on the plane :s Besides, the flu was spread by birds migrating, like swans heading north and so on, only a small amount is due to humans spreading it...

I have my doubts that this flu has mutated, considering the Influenser and the real flu viruses are all different strains and would be hard to mix... The bug going around at the moment is the weak version of the flu, which will deffinately not mix with Bird Flu. The normal regular flu is slowly dying out...

There has only been a tiny amount of people who have caught it, I can't remember how, but they were in China and they worked with poultry, possible answer is they got scratched by an infected chicken that spread the flu inside it.

I heard it doesn't spread among humans, only birds, but if a human eats the bird, he gets bird flu. But that's just what I heard anyway. I guess I'm sorta agreeing with Red.

    I think it's all a bit exaggerated.
A few people have it, there's not necessarily going to be a breakout of it.

And the chance of it reaching the island where i live is almost nothing :]

I dont even think eating it gives it to you. Only certain contacts with the bird. Thats why many farmers have it.
