Here is my little view on what web designers are:
Web Designers must be able to create a website from scratch from creating the basic layout and containment of the layout and then apply style and colour. Also have good enough knowledge to add images and a nice structure to a webpage.
They must also be able to code it efficantly enough for most browsers and SEO.

Habbox live has something like 3 web designers at the moment. It wouldn't take anymore than that to make the site, and if it does then the current ones need to be replaced.

What encryptions said. Imaging and layout designing isnt ESSENTIAL but basic layout creation is required. It is preferable to know imagery so i suggest you learn how to create layouts with adobe etc.. But it isnt 100% essential to become a webdesignerLast edited by Css; 23-03-2006 at 06:48 PM.
