Geography's a piece of pie at GCSE, be prepared for the long Geography exams though. There was only two when I did it but they can get very tedious.
Studying a language is a good option - it always looks good if you have an understanding of a modern forgien language... if you're willing to put in the effort. You can't expect it to be something you learn within a few weeks, and can slack off for the rest of your GCSE course.
I had to do: English, Science, Maths, P.E, and Religion.
The options I selected were: Graphics and Product Design, ICT, Business, Geography and German.
I'm studying AS levels now.
