Sexual attraction certainly is a reason to believe someone on what they say ^_^

13 is still quite young, so technically they can tell you to do what they want.
You should try talking to them and explaining how you feel about them treating you like it. otherwise you will end up exploding at them.
I go mad when my mum tells me what to do, it winds me up big time! I want a tattoo but i had to make an agreement with my dad that i wont get one till i am 18 otherwise they were not going to give me a new computer and wuld of cancelled my phone haha.

At 13 you don't know what you want anyway. My dad's 53 this year and still doesn't know what he wants.

Sounds like they're just a bit overprotective of you

It's hardly overprotective, they're stopping her from making holes in herself and killing her hair roots.

Your parents only don't allow you to do something as they think it will be for the best, or they like you as you are. You could either just agree to everything they say or come out to them and say that you want more control over your life as you're getting older.

Yeah but if parents try controlling you to much then you will just do it behind there back.
I have lost count how many times my parents try controlling me to do ceartin things and i end up doing it behind there back.

My best-mate recently, her mum said she couldnt have a house party, her mum went away for the night and she had one. But got caught and is grounded for a month haha

Fair enough, you shouldn't smother your kids in bubblewrap, but saying no to damaging things isn't too much control. It's just that these days everything happens fast, and so people expect to grow up fast (hence why we have 13 year olds wanting to have full control over their life).
