The filter is not here because we hope to become official, but because we want a nice forum where people respect each other and everybody can enjoy spending time.
I don't think not being able to swear spoils it, it should be possible to get your point accross without using any swear words.

Seriously though, there's no point. Even if SOME kids may know them, does that mean we want to expose everyone to that kind of language?

SOME kids do drugs. Does that mean we should give them to everyone, just because they'll probably be exposed to them in the future? Sure, they may say no and not do it, but there's a huge possibility that because they can, they will.
