I forgot to add that the best parties are at someone elses house. I had a few at my house when my parents went on vacation and i got totally wasted but i kinda had to worry about the house and make sure no one did anything stupid. So its definetly better if its at someone elses house then all you have to worry about is having a good time.

my 16th bday was the best loadss of food about 20 -25 of my mates loads of booze and load music. had a wkd nite then it colled down and we had a chill about 5 in the morning and then had 2 clean up cos my mum was on the way home. lol

The best parties are private parties. You dont want people that just want to cause some trouble and get wasted coming along, so yeah private parties.

Also; music, both genders, alcohol, place & things to do are important.

Music: Gotta be good enough to make everyone dance, dont go for the cheesey music like Peter Kay - Amarillo.

Both genders: Parties seem to be alot better if there is a mix of genders. All the same gender tends to be a bit less exciting. Being a lad I know that males just want to impress each other if there is no females there, and alot of the time things get broken around the house or wherever the parties at.

Alcohol: Enough to make people "loosen up" and no more than that. You dont want people collapsing and having to have their stomach pumped do you.

Place: House parties are the best in my opinion. They are alot more, well, comfortable? Theres sofa's, bedrooms, carpets, cushions etc. Just make sure everyone cleans up in the morning!

Things to do: Got to keep everyone entertained. In the summer, water activites are a good idea, as everyone will get all hot dancing all night and may wanna cool down. A personal favourite of mine is a certain variation of Poker, just make sure you play with both genders

Best party I ever went to was about 50:50 ratio of males and females that were friends with each other, great music, open space for dancing, hose pipes set out in garden with water balloons etc, crisps and other snacks, was bring your own alcohol and everyone got 'tipsy', poker, and a great sitting area with about 4-5 sofas. Ended up pulling some girl and spent most of the night with her, but I had respect for my mates house so we didnt get up to anything.

I'm going to a little shindig for a chum's 16th tomorrow, we're basically getting smashed and sleeping in a big tent in his garden for some reason. Just lads, which means it's going to be more of a "funny" party than anything else - although knowing my friends, they could get up to anything.

I am suprised at how many of you don't like going to party's :s:s:s Party's are greattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt especially with a bit of alchol and some other stuff
