Depends who they were.
I plan on joining the armed forces when I'm older, I guess if they were shooting at me or my friends I'd happily put a bullet in their head. My friends would mean more to me than a crapbag trying to hurt them.

I guess most of the time it's shoot to immobilise, like in the arm, leg or shoulder. Doubt you have much time to think though.

I find this hard to believe cuz these people arnt even drafted. They choose to be in the army.
