Meh, im aithiest so marrage is nothing more than a load of clumbsy outdated legal documents that realy just cause a lot of hassle rather than anything useful. So marrage is compleaty irelivent to me.
Whether you wait till you find someone you love, or you just have a one night stand is realy up to the person.

So you think if you just go out and hook up with some random and have pointless sex before marriage, it's alright? If so - then you can't have very many standards and morals in your life.

Personally, I am a catholic by religion, therefore I am supposed to believe that the whole sex before marriage thing is condemned, but as a Catholic, I'm also willing to listen to other people's points of views and challenge my beliefs. :]

Therefore, in this particular case, although I am supposed to think it is wrong, I actually believe in sex before marriage. I think if you lose your virginity to someone who you believe is your soulmate, and who you trully love but perhaps your not able to marry them yet due to circumstances you are in, eg. age, parents, where you live etc. - then it's alright.

Like if you've been with someone for a while and you trully do love them, I think it's ok - but I'm not really into this whole 'going out and getting whatever you can' nonsence as I personally have a bit more standards than that, although others seem to not.

I think thats ok? And i dont see whats pointless about it? If your haveing sex for fun, then that is the point, whether or not you love that person is completely irrelevant.
Sex isnt just for haveing children, if it were we wouldnt have invented condoms or the other tone of contraceptive methods.

Morallity is relative, so becuse somes morall standards are differnt from your own, does NOT mean that they do not have morals. Vegitarins may think its immorall to eat animals, Does that mean they should accuse everyone else of haveing no ethics or morals?

Which is the If you realy love them point again, which is the replacement for the old idea of marrage, which has kinda died off. at least in the hetrosexual community, Marrage in the homosexual communty actualy tends to hold alot more wieght these days, even if its not actaly called marrage for some petty reasons.

Whats wrong with it? You would rather have sex in a deeper relationship. Thats your choise. But just becuse you want to doesnt then mean everyone who disagrees with that is wrong. if thats what someone chooses to do, thats there choise, And its equaly valid to yours or anyone elses.
You keep talking about standards? but what standards? whos standards? Sex isnt the same thing as a relationship. Its an act, it can co-enside, it can be somthing specal. But it can equaly just be sex "/

    MY standards.

Of course, we are all entitled to our own individiual opinions and as I actually said in my post I'm happy o listen to everyones point of views and arguments against my own beliefs, but in this case I personally believe that it's good to wait until you find someone who you feel as your soul mate to have sex with, and that it's quite pointless just going out to have sex with anyone.

The reasons condoms were created is obviously very mis-understood. It was so woman wouldn't end up pregnant, if the time in their life etc. wasn't perhaps rellevant for them to do so - not so you could just go out and sleep with 10 girls in one night.

You are entitled to your opinion, and I respect that - but personally I have my own morals and standards which unfortunately, make me disagree with a lot you believe in, so lets just agree to disagree. ;p

I'm gay and since I dont believe in gay marriage then I think its okay. But if I was to have sex with a guy then it would be special and I would have had to have known him for ages. Not a few weeks but for atleast 6 months? and when I give my virginity to someone I plan to get theres in return...
    so yeah

Nothing up with it, you only live once so why bother getting married and devoting yourself to one person who will probably end up divorcing you anyway (More marriages break up now than ever before) :p
