I've also seen some people with their sleeves rolled up to show scars.

I've also been swimming once and a young woman had cuts all up her arms and on her thighs. Of course, my initial reaction was repulsion, although I do understand that you can't stop someone swimming just coz they cut themselves. I'm just suprised they have the confidence to go swimming.

I've noticed most people that self harm for attention, cut there wrists, were as people doing it for a reason hide it.
