Bank it. Halifax have a current account (means you can take it out/put it in whenever, as opposed to an ISA or savings account) where you get 5% interest if you deposit £1000 a month. Obviously I'd spend quite a bit on junk/food/myself, but £45k with 5% interest is about £2200 or something a month, so take £1000 out to put back in to keep the account going, and you've still got more money for doing nothing than my mum gets for working, plus the extra you're adding in will make the interest rise again ^_^
I should get out more.

and save the rest for when im old enough to drive, and go to Uni etc.
