I dont think you can. And alot of games need a hard drive to be played. Its not even worth having a console if youre gonna have the core

Listen mate, because the console had a nasty fall doesn't mean that it's completely -beeped- but just simply remove the small rubber and plastic protector square things on the bottom of the console, un's'c'r'e'w the s'c'r'e'w's, remove the PS2 lid off carefully and take a look inside to see if anything has gone loose.. If something looks wrong then put it right, that's how i learnt.

Thanks for the help, but I was thinking of getting a ps3/xbox a few weeks before it broke anyway

How can you get a Playstation3 online for free? You can't...

And, XBOX360 isn't bugged if it was made after Christmas 2005, after that - all the problems was sorted out and now it is fine.

I'm liking the delaystation though.

It's coming out same day as HALO3, or damn close near it - competition, obviously HALO3 will win as it's a game and therefore cheaper...
