Well as I actually took part in them, I can tell you that ardl did games to select 8 then 2 random.
bigbutsound did a DYP for 8 and selected 2 random.
IDrew did the same.
causmo did a big game to select one and a quiz to select 7 then the other two won a prezzie trap.
Jeah did a 15 people at once interview about what kind of things the team would do and why they wanted to join.

IDrew did not select any randomly, babe. He held 10 rounds of the game. Ghert - if you attended any of the first 4 recruitments, there was random selection due to the events. It might be worth noting these "friends" of Habbo X's are people who attend lots of events anyway? It's not really "unfair" if they made an effort to attend, and beat other Habbos, surely?

You get the same mix of people attended events, with a mix of others. It might look suspicious.. but it's a pattern that has always existed.

And Shatterstar babezz.. nobody mentioned badges? Someone assumed there was going to be new badges just because an alt was put on Jaeh's site, lol.

And yeah, Jaeh's recruitment might not have been the most "fair". But his details were added on the page last, and anyone who was serious about getting in one of the teams would have been to the other recruitments. We don't know what thoughts were running through Jaeh's head, so we can't determine how "random" it was... so is this accusations due to a lack of knowledge? Also in his defence, the Hotel had been playing up. Changing and rescheduling a date might not have been viable, because of the time it takes to do so, and being the 5th team leader, the time was not on his side anyway.

Note: The Streets of Bobba style might have been a nice idea.. but that just becomes another "vote off", surely? Plus - would you feel you have more chance winning if your team was built up with people you know, or don't know?

Competitions and games are not about the winning, its about the being involved. It doesn't matter who is in a team, everyone would put in just as mch work and obviously if people are adament to get the most votes it shows their dedication they will provide to their team, surely? A Vote off is much fairer than lets say.. Becs choosing Coolmandan6 and bigbutsound to be in the X team despite bans and not applying during applications times.

alright fair do's cant really argue so much as realised habbo is a total waste of time in the last few weeks and realised i can be doing better things such as furthering my education etc but surely these 'friends' would have one over on habbo's such as !x!shexidienne!x! etc as they would be biased and would have told his friends to attend anyways as most of the gits in the welcome lounge are power hungry X legging morons eg surprise surprise lix got in again especially with ardl's team as they go years back dude (H)

Lol at when they did the reindeer and elf christmas thing. I got Vip badge for that and i used to go into kick wars and win laods with vip badges only staff can kick well some newb reported and i got it taken away but i got it back 2 days later cause we needed them

Ooh, good point! ;o But then we have "who can get the most votes"..? (Two radio fansites spring to mind. :rolleyes ^_^ I understand what you mean though, and you've definately got one over on me on the "about the taking part, not winning"... which I believe is the objective - fun.

ROB! - that's exactly the point.. VIP badges in large numbers are just not viable.

Edit: I wasn't at the events where an additional number were randomly selected.. but I'd be willing to guess that Lix, and "X friends" as it's been put actually won the games. Not because they are "X friends", but because they have been using Habbo for quite some time, and are good at the games that were held. I would guess that the other Habbos that were randomly selected were the less experienced Habbos who are not so good at the games... which is fair, IMO.
