so yes, they do think they're punk. and hardcore, which is even more worrying.
I think alot of the bands today do that, that are poppunk / rockpop and they should really classify themselves as PopPunk like Blink-182 did. I think the more annoying/worrying thing is that the fans of this music think that by wearing stripey 'sawks' over their hands that they are punk, when infact they are more likely following the scene/emo trend. The real days of punk were the best and unfortunately punk has been given a bad name by all these emos/scenesters. Ahh well, just mock them.

The real days of punk are still here... Listen to Fugazi, Balzac and Latterman. Punk is as much alive today as ever, if not more so.

At least Rise Against aren't as bad as Anti-Flag though.

I wouldn't go as far as more so to be honest. I mean yeah we still have the likes of Fugazi, Rancid, Casualties etc but alot of the older bands have stopped with anymore material.

The music is better these days, just that it's not as easy to find. Tbh Rancid sucked after Wolves and street punk is pretty lame.

I said the word shiz which is apparently avoiding the filter, the arguing comes under 'insulting another forum member'
