So if he's quoted that, it's obvious he knew what he meant? So there was no need to insult him and act as if he was clueless? Sperm cells are still cells, there's no point getting technical about it on a forum like this, is there? If I say 'that person' I could mean any person, but if it's obvious what person I mean, I don't need to describe what race they are, do I?Cell is a very board term and doesn't necessarily relate to a spermatozoan, and in fact covers, unless you implying any other unicellular organisms that happen to be there, or maybe even parts of a multicellular organism were also heading for the same location and would initiate the same sequence of events there after, i believe my original criticisms still stands.
Not to mention, the phrase he appears to have quoted uses the word sperm within it.
Correct me if I'm wrong here (I don't profess to be an expert, biology went over my head at A-level), but I don't think sperm cells have varying DNA. Sperm cells are produced in meiosis cell division thus giving them half the chromosomes they need, however meiosis also produces genetically identical cells - thus every sperm cell carries an exact copy of the DNA. Variation and mutation of DNA occur when the sperm cell passes the DNA onto the ovum. Most variation and mutation would occur when the cells divide, eventually forming the foetus.
I didn't understand much else in your post because it looked too confusing, like you were bringing in information that had no relevance to anything. Don't get me wrong here, not trying to start a fight - just getting the facts straight. If I'm right, please don't correct me on minor things just because you view this as some sort of argument - I have better things to be arguing about. But if I'm wrong, please enlighten me.
"A DOOM house?!"
