It is wrong, blatently, people can say that they live their own lifes ect. but at the end of the day they are your teachers, it is completely unethical, considering they are meant to be role models and to guide you, but instead you have a teacher who smokes pot with you, that is messed up.

Errr why shouldn't they date each other? Maybe in primary school or something pupils might be like oooh Miss whatever loves Mr whatever. But once people have grown up they accept that teachers have relationships and a social life too. Their life doesn't revolve around you! Just wait til you have formal lectures you'll be like AMAGADS SHE SWORE! SHE SAID THE WORD SEX SHE CAME IN WITH A HANGOVER!!

I'd say... hes not setting a good example so technically hes in the wrong... but who looks up to teachers anyway? to be honest I dont really care what my teachers did if anything you can relate to them more when they are like you :]

How is he in the wrong any more than the thread starter? They were both using drugs... I think it would be the kettle calling the pot black kinda thing. Although as a teacher he is in a position of responsibility legally.

Meeh, my old drama teacher gets me drunk everytime i see him and one of my old teachers made me magic mushroom tea, he wasn't your average teacher mind.

I dont have any opinion on smoking weed really, personally I hate the smell of it and am proud of having never used it. My best friends mum is an alchoholic but hasn't drunk for two weeks. On the other hand she's smoking weed to help her not drink. What's worse? lol but it's her life.

I reckon if it was a one off, don't say anything about it. It could get you into just as much trouble as it could with him. Teachers have lives too, you should be glad he came to support your band!

It is up to the teacher but the teacher should be the one telling the kids not to smoke weed because it's inappropriate. He/she is supposed to be setting a good example not a bad one which he/she is doing atm.
