I'm sure Elki would have made it more obvious he meant cutenews pass if that is the case, would have probably said 'reply with the pass you would like on your cutenews account' or something like that, as he would've known that looks like a scam

I think he means the pass for the reporter account, i very much doubt he was trying to scam people out of their habbo passwords.

He wanted you to give him a password for his news system not your habbo pass.

You are not allowed to name anybody for scamming or attempting to scam on the forums and one of the reasons for this is people not getting their facts 100%
maybe you should have asked him to clarify what he meant!!!
