Friends Poem:

I laughed when we were five, giving the soccer ball mighty kicks,
I screamed when you ate my homemade cookies at the age of six,
I smiled at the school picture with you saying ‘Age Seven Buddies!’,
I pranced about when we were nine, looking for your door keys.

I giggled when I was almost ten and pleaded you to repeat that joke again,
I beamed when we sat on the high swings when we were both a mighty ten,
I thought wisely at eleven when you recited that quote by Samuel Johnston,
I danced wildly at twelve when you told my Mother of all my terrible sins.

You were always there, and I never imagined what it would be,
If you or I were to leave each other, I couldn’t imagine me,
You were the one that always kept me from crying,
Not to say, also the person that has made me cry most.

Though now I can no longer laugh, scream, smile, or prance,
Though now I can no longer giggle, beam, think, or dance,
At least not with you, but there is still a thought that sticks with me,
Even if you are gone, that quote you recited at eleven will always be:

“True happiness consists not in the multitude of friends, but in their worth and choice,” by Samuel Johnston.

I certainly do believe with my heart that I have chosen very well,
For even though you’re gone, my memories with you never quell.

Friends have a meaning in my life.
Even though when i moved
I left them behind.
Friends was the one thing that kept me happy
even though we might fight, luagh and enjoy each others company
friends is the most valuable thing in my life
You can find them everywhere
But one person can not place your best friend.

My best friend died during the summer when i was in 7th grade.
She was having fun and playing games.
When she was running across,next to the pool, she slept.
I ran to try and catch her.
but it was too late.
I found out it she busted a vein in her brain.
Soon it was her funeral day.
It is sad to she a friend pass away.
I watched her being put into the ground
and then say my final good byes and then
walked away.
I know she is still with me.
I have decated my life to something she loved
She liked butterflies.
She was more then a friend. She was like a sister to me.
Her name was lacey. And I will miss her.

That Was a true story.
You should learn that friends is the most valuable thing in your life.
Do not take them for granted.
Show how much you care for your friend.
I do.
Remember, friends are people too.
