    this is my uniform:

Tie, blazer, shirt, and you must wear your ID card all the time. If you don't have black shoes (no converse or trainers), or your uniform, or your ID card, you get put in isolation until your parents bring what in what you need.

    ID card? bloody hell.

And the only good thing about uniform is not having to worry about what to wear, but I'd much prefer more non-uniform days

At my school we have never had uniform but then we got a new head teacher and he gave us a uniform and said that we dont have to wear it if we dont want to, so only the little kids wear it for some reasons:s.
For years aswell they have been saying were getting a dress code and as soon as they do get it im not wearing it because we coped for years before.
Oh and another new thing they have done or are going to do is be taking 10 mins off our lunch break for good reason. Thats about it i think:\.

Btw whats report like? Do you have to have a member of staff with you all the time or summit?
they're probably filtering it in gradually with the new students so every year the new students have to wear the uniform so this year (if your from the UK) Year 7 have to wear it then next year year 7 and 8 then year 7, 8 and 9 etc etc.
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

Our School Uniform is also strict. :|

Were not allowed to wear any jewellery apart from a pair of studded earrings and a watch. No necklaces, bracelets, hoop earings or rings.
Must wear sensible black shoes, not allowed to show any white lines, or be timberland they must be covered all over in black; no other visable colours.
Everywhere you go you must wear the correct uniform, or jumper and are only allowed to take your jumper/blazer off if you have permission from your subject tutor.
    WHITE SOCKS only.

    Our school is crazy..
And now, were not allowed any funky hairstyles. No colours, just natural.. and people aren't allowed to have spiky hair that sticks out too far etc.

Its getting beyond a joke. Hairstyles, clothing and shoes do NOT stop you from learning..

OH YEAH, not that i eat at the cafeteria, they switched to nasty "healthy" foods.

what kind of rules does your school enforce this year?
first, why do you need your cellphone in class?
who are you calling during school hours?

why do you need your ipod?
    shouldn't you be working?

i know i sound like a nerd but really & truly think about it.

but i must admit, the car thing is dumb.
they need you not you need them.
well you do but you have plenty other schools to go to.
without students, there is no them.
