Most homophobes are only homophobic as they are not at one with their sexuality.

That's not always true, my Dad always think gay men couples are disgusting, and there is no way on earth my Dad is gay, I just know.

Okay, although it's probably quite likely that my Dad would make it clear he found it disgusting, it's not fair that he doesn't accept them, although he probably just doesn't think it's "right".

Why do people hate gays? gays dont hate straight people, whats the difference! their isnt one! Gay/Lesbians are exactly the same Why is s!exuality and s!ex a big deal!? Its a subject just like respiration and other boring stuff. Also racism what is the difference apart from skin colour! people who are homophobic and racist are just scum and they really do need to look at themselfs before they critisise others. Nobody is perfect so dont call people who aint, because neither are YOU. Plus you cant choose your s!exuality, just stop being pathetic and get along with each other (to homophobic people) -.-

I think homophobic people don't necessarily hate gays, I think they just find the gay sexuality a bit "icky".
People could probably be homophobic for 2 reasons, they are confused of their own sexuality, or they are simply too straight to understand.
Racism is slightly different from sexuality, as sexuality can mostly be hidden and race can't, I do agree with you that racist people are scum, but I don't think homophobic people are necessarily scum.
But I probably would if they went to the extremes of physically hurting somebody who is gay, that's ridiculous.

Homophobia isn't going to stop, so you might aswell accept that, not everyone has the same views as you.
Plus I know 1 gay person, and 1 bisexual and they have never been teased about their sexuality, and definately not beaten up.

ID ont realy see what effect, who someone is attracted to has on the person.
I mean is it just people have 1 track minds, or is there somthing im missing.

It has NO effect on someones attitures, no effct on how they look, doesnt even realy have an effect on how there act, i mean do u fanrise about every person you see or meat in the street?

It would chnaging how they may date, and who they are attracted to, but i dont realy think it has any effect outside of that "/
