Looks don't generally hold a relationship together, so the whole "looks matter in a relationship" isn't necessarily true. Take Peter Crouch and Abigail Clancy (?), Peter is ugly as sin and Abi is "really pretty". So **** OFF.

There has to be physical attraction at some level though, otherwise there's no chance it'll work. Looks alone, fair enough that's not a good relationship that's just a good night, but you can't have a relationship without physical attraction.

I have friends who will go out with anything as long as they have emo hair (silly fringe thing that really doesn't make it easier to tell what gender you are). They bugged me about that with my hair and my hair is very long at the moment. Short or medium is good on a guy, but long doesn't always look so good.

No, a girl will go out with you if you call them pretty and they think you're attractive too. Otherwise it would be far too easy.. some people just don't quite get reality. Also women go for looks just as much if not more than men.
