I've bet you've swallowed worse thigns before and they haven't 'choked' you. That piece of wood wouldn't of done anything and most the time companies say you should chew more. Besides, wood is edible, it just doesn't do much for you

phone them up and explain what happened and if they dont give you a good enough response such as some sort of compensation tell them your going to trading standards they will compensate you to sweep it under the carpet i bet trading standards would make them recall lots of them and cost them a fortune.
