Matt, its like banning them from specific threads, say someone made a thread then someone started argueing, they're ban that specific member from the thread to prevent it from being closed (just looked like you didnt relise)

    sounds good tbh
Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it,
Drag it, drop it, zip, unzip it,
Lock it, fill it, call it, find it,
View it, code it, jam, unlock it,
Surf it, scroll it, pause it, click it,
Cross it, crack it, switch, update it,
Name it, read it, tune it, print it,
Scan it, send it, fax, rename it,
Touch it, bring it, pay it, watch it,
Turn it, leave it, start, format it.

I agree with Rosie. There is nothing good out of this. If a user bans a person from their thread, the banned user would most likely create a different thread targeting the other user. There is nothing wrong with how it is at the moment.

Also there are quite a few good discussions posted here and lets be honest, no one can like everyone. If a user made a good topic that everyone would want to discuss, the user could just ban the people they didn't like just to be mean. So then the other users wouldn't be able to take part in the discussion, even though they've done nothing wrong.

People will ban people for no reason, then others will ban them because they've been banned, it would just create more arugments.

I agree with Chris, if someone bans someone they'll more then likely make another thread saying "Y U BAN ME NOOB!" Or something alogn them lines.

The current system has actaully worked for the past how many years. Why bother changing it.

So? You get people maoning over infractions, and bans creating this mod just gives people more reason to moan...

Thats one of the main disadvantages
This feature could be good but for super mods only.
