I'd personally recommned the 360. My sister has got a Wii and I don't think much to it at all.

Not played on a PS3 not interested in it either. The 360 for me is the best purely for it's online service. online gaming is where it's at with console gaming, and Live is head and shoulders above any other online service via console.

Theres no point really adding a poll anyway as xbox 360 will reign top due to it being out longer and being cheaper, if you live in the US however, you will be able to get a 40gb ps3 for only $400 soon which is the same price as the xbox 360. I personally own a ps3 even though only around 4-5 friends own one, the rest own xbox's. Also about the Wii, even though two of my friends owns them, i've played and found it fun but less what i look for in a game which is combat, fighting, shooting and driving (not quite like the Wii's versions, i like the graphics on the xbox 360 and ps3). So i personally see the Wii as being aimed at the younger generation then older (i know many will disagree but its what i think) And i know the amount of PS3 games currently available is limited to around 90 (i think i read) but is soon to be going up, give it time as the xbox took time to gain there selection of games.

heres a couple of interesting links comparing them.

I have a PS3 and love it. Played on 360 and just couldnt take to it. Not played on Wii so cant possibly comment, however I have been told the novelty wears off after a while, and the combat, fighting and sport games can be extreamly difficult.

With the PS3, I think that the most impressive thing about it is what it can do, not what it currently does. I think for the future the PS3 will have a good selection of games, and a established online system and in the long term good value for money. I also heard that only 1% of PS3s fail, so its good if your looking for a reliable console. In graphics terms, 360 and PS3 are about the same so graphics is not really a thing to go by.

The novelty doesn't wear off of the Wii imo. People who say that just keep playing the same games over, so it seems that way. As with every console, a game will get boring eventually. In my opinion Wii games keep you entertained for longer than other console games. So, really, the novelty doesn't wear off at all. If you think it does then you shouldn't even own a Wii, or you should buy some new games and try some of the new features and channels.

It's a rather stupid question anyway, Wii, 360 or PS3? Everyone likes different things and should decide for themself, not ask others. This kind of question cannot have a straight answer.
