im in NAGTY :-)No the anthropology behind it is complicated you dont understand, basically the simplest thing to teach is heterosexual sex. I spent a month at durham university studying anthropology as part of NAGTY and we touched upon this subject, we spent a whole week explaining homosexual sex, becuase sex (even straight sex) is more than two people interacting.
Reasons sed above tbh

I personally would have thought gay sex education wasnt needed. I think its understood that a lot of people wouldnt be mature enough to handle the situation at the age that Sex Education is taught. Plus one of the main reasons of sex education is to teach the importance of reproducing. The only way I can see gay sex being included is the part where they teach why safe sex is also important.
Sammeth.
ooer ive never thought about that
Couldn't agree more.. I hate gay people that are like that, why can't they just get on with things instead of complaining about why they can't do this or w/e?!
I think by the time you learn sex education later on (because earlier on is the basic stuff, because school education people don't believe Year 6s and 7s would know if they are gay yet), you would not need to know, it's pretty much to show where a baby comes from, because of the subject is about pregnancy and only a minor part is about diseases. Gay sex is irrelevant, because you don't get pregnant unless you're weird.
Anyway, by the time you are taught it again, Year 10 or 11, it is pretty damn obvious how a man has sex with another man or a woman with a woman, but learning about sex in Year 10 or Year 11 revolves around diseases and pregnancy, and ways to prevent it, because you are at the age where you are legally allowed to have sex, or thinking about it.
