I think it's just the format of Announcements.
In my opinion it should also say the reason we get fired in the Announcement. At least if you post the reason [people can make their own judgement on it and there isn't a thread posted in this forum over every person who gets sacked.
I don't know if it's just me but when I got sacked last week i would of preferred it to say in the Announcement the reason for me being fired, I don't know why and i know a lot of you will disagree with this post because of privacy and all but that's just what I believe lol.
You didn't have a pm with the reasons? :SI think it's just the format of Announcements.

I think he meant that he doesn't know why he'd prefer to have the reason he'd been fired posted in announcements. Rather than he doesn't know why he was fired, if that makes sense.
I did just my inbox was full so I didn't get it but I know Jake sent one. And yea sorry that my point wasn't clear.
I would of preferred a reason to have been provided in the Announcement.

In essence, it is about providing a positive image for habbox. The management needs to be seen as friendly and approachable so people aren't scared (for want of a better word) of us. The format of announcements and tone of other posts on the forums help this. If we make an angry, abusive post on the forums we get a good old rollocking from MAD; that isnt because he enjoys it (well, he might do, I havent asked him!) but because it would damage the image habbox staff try to keep.
For example, in announcements where staff are fired, there is usually a "we thank him/her for his/her time and wish him/her luck in the future", even though they may have been lazy, irresponsible and abusive. It is there anyway to show we are appreciative of any time given by staff to habbox. The "enjoy" the new name runs on the same principle.
I'd like to see you try and be creative with announcements. It's not as easy as it looks, quite frankly. But once you've got a line which fits and sounds good, why should you change it and possibly look a twit?
Synonym for "Enjoy" - Adore?
"Adore the new name"?
"Thanks to them for choosing this name"?
"Be entertained by this new name"?
"Relish this new name"?
"Revel in this new name"?
"Rejoice in their new name?"
lol... how idiotic does that sound?
You french fried when you should have pizza'd. If you french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time....
GREAT BANTER

I like how you wasted 5 minutes doing that post because I'm not going to change my mind.
Thread closed because an argument will break out.
