Actually Orangez, mucus or "snot" is clear and thin, serving to filter air during inhalation. During times of infection, mucus can change colour to yellow or green as a result of trapped bacteria. So for future reference, you may want to add that mucus is only green during times of infection (to avoid any confusion).
