Why do most american houses look like there made of wood?

Because they are made out of wood, hence why they look like it

Wood is cheaper and some parts of America are reasonably poor, but the main reason is because they have a lot of Earthquakes. If you have a big earthquake and your house is made of bricks, the bricks will crumble, one will give way and the whole house falls down. If you use wood and there's an Earthquake, the wood will bend a little. Meaning that wood with stands earthquakes better than bricks - Geography lesson of the day.

I can't say I've had crumpets thrown at me yet, but a few insults to the monarchy and tea, it amuses me almost as much as it amuses them. Most of them go:

Why do I have to be referred to as British though? That's the most agonising part, I want to be known as English not British! British insinuates I could be Welsh or Scottish and that is a hell of a insult.
