Bad points:
- Not built in with forum.

- Lots of fuctions
- Easy to use.

I prefer the type of chats where its built into the top of the forum (underneath menu bar, above forums), and you just... talk. I like the sounds/fonts etc. but its just not my type of chat. I think we should just have the forum built-in ones.

It can be built in with the forum easily. This is just a demo and we wanted to see what people thought of it. The chat itself is integrated with vb as is - thats why you can use your vb username in there.

Chat is god. We need a new chat server though, so we can copy & paste logs for laughable effect. IRC's are all about laughing at convos beforehand... like right now, with porn.

The reason it isn't available to bronze members is to prevent people from signing up to the forum for the sole purpose of causing trouble on the chat.

Fair enough but you'll probably get banned from the chat or the forum altogether and hopefully, this time, it'll stick.

so why not just ban people who sign up to cause trouble in chat?

instead of blocking them from using it until they get silver stars
